Nollywood filmmaker and director Ugezu J. Ugezu has launched a scathing attack on former presidential aide Reno Omokri, describing his role as an online critic of 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi as “the most dangerous job ever taken by any mortal in Nigeria’s murky political history.”

In a strongly worded Instagram post that has since gone viral, Ugezu warned that Omokri’s decision to consistently “demarket” Peter Obi will lead to irreversible personal damage, stating that the ex-aide has brought “self-inflicted ruins” upon himself and that “even the universe is against him.”

The veteran actor’s outburst has reignited the ongoing feud between supporters of Peter Obi and Reno Omokri, who has remained one of the most vocal critics of the former Anambra State governor since the 2023 elections.
