TRAGEDY; Nigerian beauty queen, Josephine Igoche dies in Kaduna after brief illness
According to her former pageant director Kingsley Amafibe , the young model-cum-beauty queen passed away in Kaduna on Monday May 7th after a brief ailment.
In 2016, Eleyi, who studied Political Science at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria won the Miss Ambassador for Peace North Central.
Confirming the sad news of her demise on social media, her young sister, Linda Igoche described her death as a 'rude shock'.
The good they say, always die young..It is hard to say good bye but God knows best. RIP my dear sister and friend, Queen Josephine Eleyi Igoche.

Another family member, Enenche Igoche said Eleyi’s demise was a big blow on the entire Igoche’s family. He wrote, “It will be very difficult to accept the reality of the loss, and it will be even more difficult to go through the pain of the loss. When you lose a sister, the hole that they leave in your hearts is a hole that no one could ever fill, and the sister that you lost is a sister that can never be replaced. R.I.P sis. I WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.”
