Nigeria Recruitment 2025: Apply Now for Immigration, NSCDC, Fire Service, and Correctional Jobs

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially opened its recruitment portal for key security and civil service agencies, including the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS).

Originally scheduled to start on June 26, 2025, the recruitment exercise was postponed and officially commenced on Monday, July 14, 2025, according to a statement released in June by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).

"The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform the general public that the recruitment portal, previously set to open on Thursday, June 26, 2025, will now open on Monday, July 14, 2025," the statement partially read.

The recruitment drive aims to employ qualified personnel into the NSCDC, Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service. Both male and female Nigerian citizens aged between 18 and 35 who meet the minimum physical and medical requirements are eligible to apply.

Observations by The Guardian on Monday morning showed that the recruitment portal was set to go live around 11:35 am, following the official announcement at 10:00 am. Interested applicants are encouraged to register early through the official portal to secure their participation.

This recruitment exercise represents one of the Federal Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen national security and public service workforce across Nigeria.
