UK Mum Sparks Online Buzz After Sharing Honest Photo of Late-Pregnancy Struggles

Clemmie Telford, a London-based mother of three, has gone viral after posting a bold and unfiltered photo capturing her at 40 weeks pregnant. In the image—taken just three days before she delivered her daughter, Greta—Clemmie sits in her bathroom wearing only underwear, openly showing the raw and challenging side of pregnancy.

The picture, originally posted months ago, resurfaced after online platform Selfish Mother featured her on its weekly cover. The publication described Clemmie’s photo as “powerful, inspiring, and a true celebration of motherhood in its realest form.”

Speaking with The Sun, Clemmie explained that she wanted to shed light on “the vulnerability and anxiety that accompany the final days of pregnancy.” She said her goal is to raise children who grow up confident and comfortable in their own bodies.

Reflecting on her journey through motherhood, Clemmie shared that embracing her postpartum body has been an empowering experience. “Above all, I’ve learned to respect my body. It created and delivered three children—two of them born at home without pain relief. That’s incredible,” she said.

The honest post has received overwhelming support from mothers worldwide, many applauding her bravery for showing the often-unseen realities of pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

Clemmie also posted a comparison photo between herself and celebrity Kylie Jenner one month after childbirth, emphasizing that not all bodies “snap back” immediately and that such expectations are unrealistic for most women.

She wrote, One monthhhh! Greta is 4 weeks old! And this is where I am at. No thong. No flat stomach. No freshly blow-dried mane. @kyliejenner looks great but it just ain’t realistic for most of us. In fact i’m almost certain the Granny Pants + post-partum paunch are here to stay for the foreseeable.?????
Clemmie hit headlines last year when she shared a candid post-pregnancy bikini snap online, with the caption:

My bod isn't perfect and I can't even pretend it'd be better if I exercised more, because I already work-out quite a bit.

But I'm trying to be ok with it even when it's curvier, wobblier and paler than i'd like, because THIS is what real women look like.
