Mr. Model Tabasco 2017 Cancelled Due to Lack of Qualified Contestants

The  organizers of Mexico’s “Mr. Model Tabasco 2017” pageant have announced the cancellation of this year’s competition after failing to find contestants who met the strict eligibility criteria.

The pageant required candidates to be between 17 and 27 years old, at least 1.78 meters tall, possess a harmonious face and physique, hold a college degree or equivalent education, speak English, have a valid passport, and not work as a stripper.

Reports indicate that these stringent requirements proved too challenging for aspiring participants. Just days before the scheduled event, only six candidates had been selected, and even they did not fully meet the organization’s standards. As a result, the organizers had no choice but to cancel the contest for 2017.

In an official statement, the National Organization of Mr. Model Mexico said:
"We regret to inform the public that the Mr. Model Tabasco 2017 event has been canceled until further notice, as none of the candidates met the physical requirements established by the organization. Mr. Model Tabasco remains committed to finding the perfect example of masculine beauty in the state."

The organization assured that it will continue its search for qualified contestants and aims to maintain high standards in future editions of the competition.
